Our Community's Best Advice for First Time Fly Fishers

Posted by Tasha Sullivan on

Have you ever heard the saying, "two heads are better than one?" Rather than just dishing out our own advice, not long ago, we asked our social media followers for their best advice for first time fly fishers. Our favorite responses:

  1.  Find a patient friend or hire a great guide

    2.  Time is experience. You wouldn't hire a guide that hadn't spent plenty of time on the water. The more time on the water, the more you learn.

    3.  What to Buy First

    4.   Remember Why You Started

  5.    Follow the Laws & Be Kind to Nature

  6.   Surround Yourself with Support ;)
